REMINDER: BVI COMPANIES’ DEADLINE FOR PROVISION OF BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP -27 JUNE 2017

We refer to our email dated 19/5/2017 and our Portcullis Newsletter[Exchange of Beneficial Ownership (BVI)

In order for Portcullis to input the beneficial ownership information of your BVI companies by 30 June 2017 into the BVI Government BOSS system (Beneficial Ownership Secure Search System) before it goes live on 1 July 2017, we need the Beneficial Ownership information on or before 27 June 2017.

Please note that under the BVI Beneficial Ownership Secure Search System Act, 2017, the obligation to provide updated information on the beneficial ownership of a BVI company rests on the BVI company.

Possible consequences to you for failure to comply: a fine of up to US$250,000 or up to 5 years’ imprisonment.

Please note that Portcullis will not be liable to you for any late reporting of the Beneficial Ownership information into the BVI Government BOSS system if the information is not provided by our deadline of 27 June 2017.

In addition, Portcullis reserves the right to resign as the RA/RO of the company if any corporate or legal entity remains non-compliant by 1 July 2017.

如你已提供最終受益擁有人資料給我們, 請不用處理此最後通知電郵。

根據我們2017年5月19日發出的電子郵件及Portcullis 通訊, 有關最終受益擁有人資料。

為了在2017年6月30 日讓本公司完成處理最終受益擁有人資料, 於法例生效日(即7月1日) , 輸入英屬維爾京群島政府的BOSS系統內, 請於2017年6月27日或之前將有關資料提供給我們。

根據2017年英屬維爾京群島實的最終受益擁有人法案，所有英屬維爾京群島公司都有義務提供最新的最終受益擁有人資料。

如不遵守可能造成的後果：最高罰款25萬美元或最多5年監禁。

如果我們在2017年6月27日的截止日期之前沒有收到最終受益擁有人資料，本公司將不會就英屬維爾京群島政府BOSS系統資料沒有更新或延遲報告作出任何責任。

此外, 如果任何公司或法律實體在2017年7月1日之前仍然不符合規定, 本公司保留辭去註冊代理人身份的權利。
