As previously advised, the British Virgin Islands (“BVI”) was hit by Hurricane Irma on Wednesday the 6thof September 2017. We are now relieved and pleased to report that all of the Portcullis (BVI) Ltd staff and their families are safe.

The offices of Portcullis (BVI) Ltd have suffered minor damage and initiatives are underway to restore the functions of the offices and have our staff return to work as soon as practicable. In the meantime, our Business Continuity Plan has been activated and business will continue operations from our Asia based offices, contact details of which have been provided below.

A statement has been issued from the Premier of the British Virgin Islands, Dr.the Honourable D. Orlando Smith OBE, confirming that firm steps have been taken with the assistance of the United Kingdom to alleviate the immediate impact of the hurricane and restore core infrastructure services to the territory.
